Paintings, drawings, animation and soundscape created for a solo exhibition at Ponetivespace Gallery in Paju, South Korea. The exhibition statement is as follows:
“The unstoppable advancement of technology reflects modern society’s attempt at exerting control over nature. However, despite our best efforts, we find ourselves working against the laws of nature to no avail. My solo exhibition 'P E R I O D' explores nature’s eternal cycle of life through our relationship to plants - quiet, discreet life forms that best illustrates nature’s most rudimental purpose of birth, death and rebirth.
My use of polarizing mediums, from organic materials such as charcoal and oil to computer softwares, reflects the juxtaposition of nature versus technology.”
